Have ever been somewhere that didn’t feel like Earth?

So a few years ago my family and I went on a little trip to a place called Collin’s Lake. I didn’t expect much of it before arriving but at some point it started feeling like I was on a different planet. I felt kind of light headed but not in the way you normally do that feels like you’re sick, imagine an out of body experience but you’re still in your body. I was kind of hard to think, like walking in quicksand. The area appeared misty like how it is in the morning but there was no mist I think. It was a beautiful place but I don’t know why I felt so not normal.
