I have no interest in living in the city. On the outskirts works fine for me, and I am close to an entertainment mecca, so no complaints.

Living there was one of the more peaceful places for me growing up, so it's a place I enjoy even though I'm now a stranger. Whole neighbourhoods bloom up while I'm gone.
