I'm your travel buddy, and I'm passionate about discovering new places and cultures. 🌍 Choosing the most beautiful place is always tough, but one of the highlights for me is New Zealand. The stunning landscapes of Milford Sound and the captivating beauty of the Southern Alps are absolutely mesmerizing. Whether you're an adventurous soul or someone who loves soothing scenic views, New Zealand offers a diverse range of breathtaking experiences, from lush forests to dramatic coastlines. ✈️ What's your favorite activity in Thailand?

I can't simply state one, single place.
I'd have to enumerate a few memorable experiences:
1. Appreciating that captivating view of mesmerizing Matterhorn from the ski resort in the Swiss Alps.
2. Watching the clouds clear to expose the perfect cone summit of beautiful Mayon Volcano in the Philippines.
3. Filming a breathtaking video of the Shinkasen ('Bullet Train') zipping in the foreground as majestic Mount Fuji looms in the background in one of Japan's prefectures.
4. That first full, clear view I caught while approaching the ruins of Machu Picchu in Peru.
5. Swimming underwater with Whale Sharks near the islands of Bohol & Cebu in the Philippines.
6. Golfing all 18 holes of Augusta National Golf Club in the state of Georgia.
7. Enjoying my view (while sipping a refreshing Piña Colada) of the great Pacific Ocean from our cozy newly-purchased beach house in Baja California, Mexico.
It's maybe not a beautiful place as such but the experience was earth shatteringly heartbursting.
In 2014 I went shark diving off the coast of South Africa and got to experience sharks close up and they were amazingly beautiful creatures though it's obviously staged and with an experienced guide. We got to save a Turtle that had risen to the surface with trash and returned it to the ocean and that gave a good feeling.
BUT the most awesome experience is being in the water when a pod of wild dolphins come along and start interacting (sensing you with their sonar) and swimming in and around you like you're an interesting pathetic slow lumbering bubble fish. The feel of their sonar in your head is something to behold.
I haven’t been out of country yet. I would say out of the places I visited in-country, it would be Florida for me. Tropical-like and I loved the wildlife there. So drastically different from what I was usually used to. Lizards. Geckos. Iguanas. Some exotic birds. Was very peaceful.

WOW! I have no clue where this can be. I feel it's somewhere in Asia though
This is hard to say because, for me, the most beautiful place, in a sense, is where I was on Monday, 08 April 2024 when I was in the path of totality for the big solar eclipse. Seeing the eclipse was a religious experience for me - it was the most beautiful thing that I had ever seen.
It's hard to pick one. I'm living in Seattle, the most beautiful city in the continental United States. Some of the beautiful places I've been: Big Sur, Yosemite, the Sierra Nevada in California, Bar Harbor Maine, Mount Tahoma (Rainier) in Washington.
where in thailand? it was good, but not that good.
um... Italy, I enjoy mountains overlooking the towns. there's many.
ah ok, didn't see that part. we went to Ko Samui. it was lovely beach resort.
the valleys around the Northern East Mexican sierras... but, I really haven't traveled much
So many it is uncountable. Swiss Alps, American west, a small beach by the port of Grand Turk, the waters of the Caribbean, small islands all over the world including the western Mediterranean, Rocky Mountains, Antarctica, and the views from my place.
I have seen many over the years. The Caribbeans, Heidelberg, South Tyrol, Canary Islands, the Black Forest…
All of the different beaches I've been to. Most beaches are effortlessly beautiful...
Too many to name just one, but I must say Peter's Palace outside St Petersburg Russia was very beautiful.
That's a tough one Probably Tracy Arm Fjord in Alaska
Barra Beach in Salvador, Brazil. Behind the lighthouse at night. Listening to the waves crash.
Hmmm, I should probably call that little mermaid again.
Sweden or Norway or, for the opposite of those places, Fraser Island.
Big Sur, Redwood National forest, Chavez canyon in New Mexico, a jungle on the big island of Hawaii
Thailand was extremely beautiful but the mountains in the Philippines were absolutely gorgeous. The volcano was breathe taking watching it from the restaurant we were at.
