What’s your ideal vacation?

A Place to Relax or to be tourism.

I don't like to just sit around.

I like to relax in the evening. I like good food and drink. I enjoy luxury. But I also love history and seeing, experiencing and learning new things.

A few of my favorites have been:
Xcaret in the Maya Riviera. It's all inclusive with swimming pools and the ocean, free drinks at bars that are everywhere, free tacos and snacks, entertainment, shops and restaurants, and an amazing theme park. And near the Mayan ruins of Tulum.

The Romantic Road (Romantische Straße) in Germany. Some wonderful hotels and magical scenery. Real castles, not Disney castles. Ancient towns with cobbled roads that aren't wide enough for cars. It's out of a fairy tale.

Ireland. Some of the B&Bs are luxurious. Exploring Dublin, the countryside and amazing scenery, forests, ancient monasteries and cathedrals, historic sites, thatched roof cottages, seaside towns, ancient castles, estates and gardens open to the public, the Bunratty theme park and medieval banquet.

I go to Barbados every year usually around January or February, I enjoy the culture, the food and the great beaches, I'm also an avid scuba diver znd the diving is great there and never had any bad weather whole there.

This honestly fully depends on the vibe I am going for. Feel like being bougie? Sure, I'll do an all-inclusive beach side resort. Feel like being outdoors and active? To the mountains I go with my hiking boots.

I tend to sway towards more hiking trips than I do anything else. My partner and I enjoy those activities the most!
