The idea of having a decently sized sailboat, then being able to have an electric motor that you can use at port or if there is no wind and solar panels to recharge without needing an outlet.
So you can travel great distances only by "free energy" is appealing.

The sailbout option, Motorboat option and Submarine seems to be the only suitable options to traverse sea.
The other options seem more suitable for lakes.

I had it in mind once. But not any more.

Instead I chose my profession to make boats and yachts.

But if I were forced to pick one myself, it would be a sailing ship replica from the early 19th century. Preferably, ''Le Volage'' or ''HMS Speedy''.
