It's time to Visit UK, where would you go for a 3 week tour?

would you actually try to drive on the left side of the road?

Are there really warlocks in the castles?

I'd recommend.
No more than a day in London, its overpriced, dangerous and not representative of the UK.

Shrewsbury, Chester, and York for that olde world feel, worth a trip to whitby when near York.

Not much north of York. A few interesting small towns like Alnwick but avoid the cities, the natives ain't friendly. In newcastle you'll either leave in a body bag or with an STD

Up to Scotland, west is best stick to the highlands if unsure but a trip to Edinburgh is worth it. (Castles ridiculously over priced) Glasgow gets overlooked by tourists but I found it interesting.

Back down to Wales, Cardiff OK but Swansea is a soulless concrete "dwll o le". Wind Street for a piss up and a shag is your best bet. If your not sick of Scottish Mountains head to Snowdonia otherwise south west to Tenby and Pembrokeshire for the seaside. If your religious a trip to St davids too.

When in the area there's a couple of daily ferries to Ireland so head to Dublin for a guinness.

I agree London is pricy, but can I get "Dishoom" type Indian food elsewhere? We're hooked.

You really do need to forget all about the London, Birmingham, Manchester metropolises etc.

So instead, definitely, most definitely head to the Highlands and Lowlands of Scotland.

I loved London for one reason... Indian food! we will return.
