I also went to a concert last night to see one if my top favorite bands. Technically they started in the 70s but their biggest hits came in the 80s which is my wheelhouse for music. I really enjoyed seeing them. It's not a holiday weekend, but that and get my hair done at a salon was how I spent my weekend mostly.
