Do you like the powdery white sand and clearer, calmer waters of many Gulf of America beaches, or do you prefer the rougher, darker sands and more active, murky waters of Atlantic beaches?

My favorite Atlantic beach must be Hilton Head Island. I love Hilton Head Island, not just because of the beach but the town nestled in a forest environment with bike trails and restaurants. I love Rita's Italian ice!

Otherwise, I like the quality of Gulf of America beaches.

Most of the beaches in the north atlantic are covered with rocks and the water is usually murky except in the winter. Aling the Guld coast the water is clearer and the becahes are sandy.
