What would you pick as the best introductory countries for each region?

Like you're traveling to these regions for the first time, where should you start? I supposed this is aimed more at Americans, but others can answer as well, but I'm American, so I will start us off, listing from an American perspective. This is taking into consideration quality of geography and attractions, safety, logistics, infrastucture, culture and communication.

NORTH AMERICA- Not very many options so I will go with Canada. It has pockets that are different enough, that you feel you're in a foreign country, but it's also similar enough to the U. S. that you won't be culture shocked.

CARIBBEAN- I started with Puerto Rico, but I can't decide between Aruba, Cayman Islands and St. John. Aruba is great, but the geography and culture isn't very Caribbean. Cayman on the other hand has the perfect blend of stereotypical Caribbean as well as history and nature. St. John might be best, but I haven't been to St. John.

CENTRAL AMERICA- Most would say Costa Rica, but I will go for PANAMA. It has so much more to offer and is the most modern country in the region.

SOUTH AMERICA- I started with Peru, but I'd probably recommemd a more developed country, like Argentina or Uruguay.

EUROPE- this one's tough. Excluding Poland, I started with Greece. Most would go for UK becuz of language and culture, but it's a mess right now and I wouldn't go. So maybe Ireland, Iceland or Denmark or Netherlands. Although I could go with GREECE.

MIDDLE EAST- TURKEY. Not much of a contest here.

AFRICA- This one's tough and I've never been. Do you wanna go for safety and development and go with Mauritius or one of the European territories? Tunisia for sights? OR, do you wanna go for the stereotypical Africa but still not feel too culture shocked? In which case S. Africa, Zimbabwe, Bostawana or Namibia are options.

ASIA- I started with TAIWAN and I think it really is the best option.

OCEANIA- I'd personally go for FRENCH POLYNESIA if you can afford it. If not, New Zealand.

I knew you'd like this question. Some of your choices are very surprising, though maybe you're answering from a French perspective ^^
I wouldn't recommend them for non-French speakers, but having already been to a few French areas, I would visit Reunion over Mauritius honestly, and I already decided I want to visit French Guyana for Amazon, but you need Yellow Fever vaccine and it's difficult to get to from the states. You have to go through Santo Domingo or one of the French islands

Yes I chose some area becuase I'm French and want to visit French island or our old colony (like morocco) I'm curious about the country my ancestor walked on.

I'm surprised that yellow vaccine is hard to get from the states? it's a very rich country, in France it's very easy to get but I think it's normal as some of our lands are in dangerous areas.
To get to these place you need to speak French or the local language becuase yes in English it might be hard but I think you can still do it after you need to get an official guide and not a fake on becuase there's lots of fake one.

Mauritius my grandparents went there they loved it they said it was one of their best vacation.

French Guyana is hard to go into becuase of drugs trafficking there's lots of police and douane everywhere

I've heard horrible stories about Morocco. It interested me when I was younger, but not so much now. It's not even about the people. Algeria and Tunisia seem more interesting.

No, not the vaccine. The flight. Although the vaccine is another extra pain in the ass.

Mauritius was on my list, but it's similar to the Caribbean and its like the furthest place from us. If Im gonna go to Africa Id rather see the stereotypical Africa, although Reunion I want to go to. I want to visit all the French territories, except Mayotte, I don't care for that one. Some black guy said he was treated better on Reunion. Mauritius is raised to level 2 warning now.

Really? Damn. I'm surprised. It's listed as level 1 and safer than Guadeloupe. I saw a YouTube video where a girl crossed by boat from Suriname without going through customs

If you're going to Asia start with the Philippines because they speak English and the people are super nice. If you go to Africa, start in Kenya because it's safe and the people are nice.
