I would choose the lower photo, but I think I'd struggle to survive in both environments.

But both States are similar with Washington being more populated.

I'd choose Western Washington because it rarely freezes, and I don't like cold weather.

I think I'd pick Washington just because it's closer to California than Connecticut is. Plus those mountains look beautiful.

I have a trip scheduled next month to spend a week in a cabin in the Olympic national park area in Washington with my mom. I live in Hillsboro, OR, so it's right next door to me. It's one of the most magical places in the Pacific Northwest. It has mountains, forests, and beaches too! I'm very excited! 😊 I'll post some photos for you guys
