Is it weird that when I see a picture of a random German city, I immediately think it's Alsace, rather then Germany😂?

They look very similar, so for me it's a reasonable mistake, but I feel most normal people would assume GERMANY😂

It reveals, somewhat, a few glitches in the matrix of how country borders are defined lol. Showing how they can been cut artificially by whatever gov, state or historical event.

Alsace is an historically Franco-German region, its main city, Strasbourg, bears a name reminiscent of a German (Strasse, burg), you will find roads and signs reminding Germany too.

But if you're not French, it's a bit odd that you think of Alsace instead of Germany, because Germany, as a country, is much more famous than a French region.
