I visited Budapest this Spring, a short 2-day visit. The city (actually two cities, Buda and Pest) is beautiful, and I'd like to go back and spend more time visiting.

Though it's not a country I've been to, I really have no desire to go to Belarus, Minsk or any other city. Especially now that Belarus is indirectly involved in the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

Budapest please. More freedom and I don't need a visa. And Belarus probably hates us right now

I liked that FBI International show where they were based in Budapest and I saw a lot of places that looked cool

Between Budapest and Minsk, I’d choose Budapest.

Budapest has:
- Stunning views along the Danube River
- Thermal baths (like Széchenyi) to relax in
- Great mix of history, architecture, and nightlife
- Easier tourism infrastructure and more budget‑friendly options

Minsk can be interesting, but Budapest is more vibrant, accessible, and rewarding for most travelers.
