We had some raging parties at a couple of places like that back in the 90’s. I remember my friend gave this tweaker (meth addict) 4 joints of Mexican dirt weed to do a backflip into an abandoned motel swimming pool that was full of dark green water with an inch thick layer of brown algae scum on top. There was another motel party where one of my friends found a used needle underneath the mattress, and then he and a few others proceeded to throw everything in the motel room into the swimming pool. chairs, tables mattress, paintings, end table, lamps, but not the tv haha

I know. My DAD booked it. And the sad part is, we actually changed rooms 'cuz the AC wasn't working, and the other room wasn't any better.

Yeap. It was.. shitty. Water pressure was awful and smelled like sulphur and pennies. Bedding was stained with what im assiming was ketchup. Front desk gave me the wrong key at first. Shady people outside in the walkway area. Etc.

2 star was the lowest and that was because I was on a trup and there wasn't any vacancy at any hotel. It was only for the night.

It’s very scary. We came in very late at night. We had to stay at a motel by the turnpike, and I could imagine one of those truckers dressed up like Michael Myers, kicking the door in coming inside trying to trash us up in the mountains

And the funny thing is all those motels are run by Indians from people from India that’s very strange to find all that in a country hicktown up in the mountains of America

How was the motel's hygiene?

Horrible wood panel very dark, creepy atmosphere extremely tiny. I didn’t even bother showering. I don’t trust any of it. we just lightly slept for a few hours and left in the morning. The Indian woman was trying to get me some more ice that was about it. She was trying to be nice, but the men are very creepy. And the fight with you over prices.

Believe so yes. The toilet rocked didn't have all the bolts. No carpet. Hot water took forever to get to the shower.
