I don’t like AOC, but seawater inundates Miami Beach streets at high tide/king tides on a regular basis these days. In the passed you’d only see seawater in the streets during storm surge from a hurricane. There is no real way to defend most of south Florida or our ground water from sea level rise due to our geology. It’s a real problem that is steadily creeping forward as time passes. I’m sure Miami will gradually adapt to the changes until it’s too much of a burden to bare, but it will be expensive and buildings might have to get a little Venetian...

One thing older people have over younger ones is the experience of time. We've heard the world is going to end in a few years for the past few decades - especially from Al Gore - the "environmental guru". Every few years, he has to change his estimation - again. So this nonsense about sea levels rising and burying our coastal communities is getting old and worn out. Unfortunately, young people are caught up in the frenzy of this garbage.

First of all, God said He'd never flood the Earth again. He never did say anything about fire or heat, or excessive cold. So we can rest assured God won't be destroying the planet with a watery grave.

Secondly, Jesus specifically asked about the birds of the air and the flowers in the fields and asked, "Are you not much more than they? If so, then why worry?" If God clothes and feeds the birds and takes care of the flowers, then we're certainly far more to Him than those lowly parts of nature. God WILL provide the food, water, and our daily needs.

This climate change stupidity is getting worse and worse with people like AOC. She's dumber than a box of rocks!
