A lot of this is politically correct, social justice nonsense meant to rub it in your face, and stir emotions. Remember we live in a world where Hollywood does terrible gender swap versions of remakes, or you’re guilt tripped for being straight, and not feeling attracted to transgendered individuals. When People Magazine was a new publication about 40 years ago, if you were featured as the cover story you were cemented as a star. But, with so much tabloid competition, it’s no longer as sensational, so they find these wacky left of center writers and photographers to come up with these antics that use shock value to get you take notice, and buy it. It doesn’t mean the subject of the story is worthy of the claim, and it’s not automatically good journalism.
It's all subjective. Do looks alone define someone as sexy or do they incorporate other things like his voice and personality as well? He seemed like a rather down to earth guy back when I met him 4 years ago. He has a great singing voice and I think he's rather talented. I wouldn't call him sexy. I wouldn't call a lot of men that won that sexy. The same goes for the women actually. None of it has any weight to it. 🤷🏾♂️
He's not physically the sexiest man alive but i do think things besides appearance can make a person "sexy". My boyfriend is physically sexy but his sense of humor, and how he treats me make him even more sexy. So i think other factors play a role in deciding if someone is sexy. However people magazine likely doesn't look beyond outward appearance. My point is that maybe he was voted as sexiest man alive for more than just his physical looks.
I don't think he was the right choice but then that might be because I don't find him good looking at all also I'm a little bummed the celebrity I was hoping to be voting sexist man wasn't maybe hopefully in 2020 he will be named sexiest man alive because he deserves the title
These are popularity contests. Nobody can be the sexiest alive. For example I like ethnic girls, so I would choose girls like Chloe Bennet or Mel B. Wheras another dude who likes blonde bombshells would pick girls like Kate Upton who is beautiful but not exactly my type. Either man or woman there can never be one picked. (used girl examples cuz men are ugly ass dogs)

There is a huge difference between bigotry and the people who are bothered by this. The fact is the bigotry in this is against straight white men. People would never choose a white guy for this anymore now if you poll women and ask them who is the sexiest man alive it would more than likely be a white guy so this is not about bigotry it is about fighting political correctness the same goes for movie parts. If a black man is the best man for whatever it is then pick him but don't do it simply because you don't want it to be a white guy.

Man no. Sexiest men for me are mainly blond guys hahah. They are exotic to me. Call me racist but white guys tend to be more handsome than dark/ brown skinnned and eastern Asian men. That is my personal opinion and i am not trying to offend someone
Realistically I would guess he is a tick or two below average. I guess average is the base point for even the least attractive people though in order to be polite.

@SaraLa I haven't heard much of his music but based the stuff I have heard, I never understood the praise this guy gets. I could find better musicians in a local bar honestly (based on what I've heard). The most boring monotone music.
