Lmao. Ah... cats. Such little f'ers.

Oh you have a Persian? They are smart and talky typically. Is yours like that? I bet he's very up on world current events. Yet, he probably doesn't care.
She's a Burmese. We got her years ago from some people who were moving. You're right. She does talk a lot, often just to herself, ... in sentences. She's a nut. I call her Cuckoo Coco
Why did I say Persian. I meant Siamese. But now I see she is Burmese.I had a Himalayan (that's Persian and Siamese.) He turned into quite the little demanding monster. He certainly found his vocal chords. He never shut up about it. Went on a hunger strike, begging for treats, and at night as soon as we left the room to go to bed, he was up on the kitchen island prowling for food. Vet thought I was starving him. She didn't seem to believe it was his choice.
That was so funny. Our girl, Rosie, who died in Dec. 2019 at age 22, didn't learn how to meow for years. Once she did, she only spoke when it was important. For a single meow, her mouth would open fairly wide and her upper lips would raise. Coco, on the other hand, talks a lot and barely opens her mouth to do it. She also has vocabulary and can say a lot in one breath. It's particularly funny when she talks and trots at the same time. It's like "Ma a a r r r r a a a a mer er er." A lot of the time, she seems to just be talking to herself. It's not like she sits in front us and demands stuff. I've never known a cat like that. Weirdo.Rosie was a delicate eater. She'd have a few bites, leave, and come back. The food in her dish would last a while. Late in life, she turned into a beggar whenever we ate. She'd hop up in our laps and try to eat off of our plates. She loved it when we handed her bits to eat. Then, when she was approaching 20, she went through a phase of being hungry all the time. I took her to the vet to find out why but they found nothing. I didn't want her to feel like she was starving all the time. Eventually, she went back to normal.Cats go through phases. When we got Coco, she ate like a freaking dog. When we put her food down, she would bury her face in it and inhale until it was gone. Over the years, she has backed off a bit. She sometimes eats a bit and comes back later. Over just the last few weeks, she has turned into a beggar and sits next to us when we eat, hoping for tidbits. Cats are anything but predictable and boring.
Exaaaactly. I loathe grocery shopping. It's a good excuse to fast.
It really is. Covid has been a great scapegoat for basically everything I just don't feel like doing. My brother and his wife are visiting and my parents want me to come home? Nah. Covid. I got laid off and need to get a new job? Nah. Covid. Just get that unemployment and stimulus. Covid is like my best friend.
That’s really dark and honest at the same time.
Dark and honest. That's me! ^_^
I love it.
I know the feeling. It's like they are our overlords and we exist to serve them.
Yeah but when it comes then it wants a rub and massage 😂💆
Good call. That might be the tipping point right there.
Lol it was
I just made a roast last night! It looked gorgeous when I took it out of the oven, but tbh it was a bit tough. Maybe I let it rest too long and it seized up. That tends to happen.Made it with roasted multicoloured bell peppers (they have red mixed with yellow, marbled now?) and asparagus.Do you like beef or pork more?
Yep, liquor sales are waaaaay up. Beer the least, then wine, then hard liquors.I got a variety at the store recently too. I now have vodka, gin, wine, sake, triple sec, and even some liqueurs like Frangelico and Baileys Strawberry & Cream, and Almond. I like changing things up often. Crown Royal Apple whiskey for the husband. But he's very flexible. What do you like?
Try Cask & Cream if you got it where you're at. You can drink straight, on the rocks, in your coffee, where ever you would use cream. It's heavy dutch cream and brandy mixed.
Never heard of it, I probably can’t get it here, but sounds interesting. I’m trying to imagine...Oh coffee + liquor makes me cray cray. I prefer one thing at a time, ending on the latter. Remember the Red Bull mixed drinks craze about a decade ago or something? That was like some weird jet fuel. I tried it once and that was it.
Hahahaha. Harsh! But yeah, they do bitch a lot. I don't have any pets now but did most of my life. My last cat was a maniac, jonesing for his Whiskers crunch treats in a bag. They were like crack to him. Eventually he refused to eat anything else. I spent hundreds of bucks on all types of food for him and he got so skinny vet was like, 'Are you feeding him?' Don't blame me! You try living with him!
