There are news oranizations on both sides that lie their asses off, in order to push their agenda. That's not surprising, or new.
CNN pushes a liberal agenda, and OAN & Fox push a conservative agenda. It's not unique to either side. That's why it's never a good idea to rely on a single source for news, but rather to follow multiple sources, with multiple slants.
The truth is usually somewhere in the middle; you just have to cut through the biased, self serving crap, in order to get to it. Most people just obtain their information from whomever reinforces their own biases, which is where you run into problems.

I don't understand how someone can complain about CNN being biased, and lying, but can't/won't accept that their own news organization does the same.
People complain about "the other side" being brainwashed, and yet they can't accept that they are just as brainwaahed, themselves. I don't get it. 🤦♂️

Is this supposed to be new news? 😂 The majority of major "news" reporting network's do this. Thier content depends on wether they are left or right leaning. Of course they are going to exaggerate and use buzz words, click bait and "propaganda" that casts the opposing party in a bad light. Jesus have you not been paying attention? Left or right, nobody can be fully trusted to report on the facts accurately.

It's really simple.
You need to understand that politics is all about lying. All politicians lie, all people who are obsessed with politics lie, because the only thing they care about is winning. Not truth. The media also only really exists to shape opinion, not to inform. They don't care about the truth either.
CNN did use propaganda. They specifically aimed to get Trump out. Everybody with a triple digit IQ knows this on the right and left. It doesn't make sense for the left to admit to knowing, even though it's obvious, because they have the exact same goal, and they need to convince the dumber ones who don't get it to follow.
Just as you stated, a cultist doesn't examine what their leaders say and do in any depth. Whatever they do is right and holy. I get it that you're trying to get reactions and probably will, but there's no real answer to your question if not "braindeadness".
i think it was very obvious that the media had a joined agenda against the guy. but then again, the guy didn't exactly act in a way appropriate for a president, so that was probably for the better overall. though i'm not so sure if biden was the better choice. time will tell.
I would argue for the same reason that the cultists run by an organization and the Murdoch family could never admit that Trump lost a fair and secure election because he couldn't run a country or business or really anything else in his life

Is this news to you? I've known TV to be a very effective propaganda tool since in 2009. My parents bought it all. why should they admit to make use of propaganda? That would impact their reputation.
