Good for her! She may make really bad decisions but so have many other people, let her live and learn as it’s part of life. Her dad and others just put her up in stage to make money like a dancing bear or trained monkey. If she is well enough to do that she is well enough to handle her own affairs. She should het a large firm to manage her money and she should set a budget.

I think she might have been best off with her childhood sweetheart whom she briefly married in Vegas. He would have had her best interests in mind I suspect.

Cindi Lauper had some wise words, “Money changes everything”. I feel bad for some stars as they get cheated out of a life with the comfort of real friends and family and it is traded for the comfort of a house that is too big and a private jet.

She is a grown, independent, has her own job and career and home woman. He should have never been over her to begin with.

I do not know the specifics. Was he being just and noble WHILE he was her conservator? Was he taking care of her finances and saving it for her and investing it wisely for her and looking out for her or was he wasting it and living it up on his own, taking advantage of her and using her?

I don't know if he was being noble during these last 10 plus years or being corrupt.
She should be free... I am pleased that she is free.

She's not free at all. Not she has to manage a multimillion dollar trust for herself and her children. She has to hire reliable people who won't cheat her and who will grow all the money she's made over the years and is still making.

Honestly I felt bad for her. No one should have to live like that. I saw the netflix special and was amazed how horribly she was treated I do understand there're 2 sides to every story, but she seemed capable of living her life

I am glad to see she finally has the power to do what she wants. I never understood how her father was granted so much authority over her life. There have been plenty of celebrities who have had mental issues. None of them lost the power to make their own decisions.

Most f'd up thing I've heard about lately. I watched Britney vs Spears last night. My jaw was open a lot. I can't believe this actually was real. I wish she was never ever in that situation. Having a court appointed accountant for now is a huge step in getting control back. Hopefully Britney can have open two way conversations with the accountant and have a say while learning some skills off them as well
