Did you know COVID-19 is the 5th deadliest pandemic in history?

is this based on data so far or projected data? my personal view is it will only get worse before it gets better and it will reach the number one spot
Data and estimation from scientists. Almost 6 million dead but it’s estimated to be much higher making it the 5th deadliest pandemic.
That's interesting. The way the media has been playing it up, it's the worst thing that's ever happened to humans.
At the moment it’s the worst thing and it’s global so.
Asker: Really? Less than 1% of the world's population has been infected, and those that have been infected have a 99.9% chance of surviving.
Yes really what’s a bigger global problem at the moment? Name one.
@asker food shortages and dirty water in the third world probably kills more people but its not a competition anyway...
@AviatorTom thats still a lot of dead people... peoples parents, grandparents friends and children etc
@wankiam Ok but that’s not global that’s not a big problem in the west.
Climate change is a global issue and it's pretty big. Scientists predict that if the average temperature increases as expected without doing anything about it, several coastal communities around the world will be flooded and lost. The Maldives, which is only 7 feet above sea level, could completely disappear.
