"Lonely" Joe Biden wasn’t joking yesterday in the White House when former President Obama stole the show away from the illegitimate Commander in Chief. Joe Biden was seen wandering in the White House with nobody who wanted to talk to him.
Biden joked to trade union workers that the US might send American soldiers to war in Ukraine. His comment was made during a speech to the American Building Trades Unions’ legislative conference on Wednesday. Biden told the union workers that the war in Ukraine could continue for a long time. He quipped, “And by the way, If I gotta go to war, I’m going with you guys. I mean it.”

I didn’t vote for Biden either but Trump did saddle us with $7.8 trillion in additional debt in just 4 years and left office with 3 million fewer jobs than when he started. Biden might be a failure but Trump’s term wasn’t exactly a rousing success either.

@Roxxy99 And under Biden people didn't want to work because they got more from being unemployed. And people still don't want to work. I can't get anyone to even come give me a bid for a job I need done. And I still see signs in windows saying "Help wanted".

@Daniela1982 There’s been a worker shortage in the US for years. It’s gotten worse as the baby boomers continue to leave the job market. Is that Biden’s fault? The Covid bonuses are long over with. You can’t blame that anymore. Unemployment is extremely low right now. If we want to grow the economy, we need more workers ….. and that means more immigration.

@Roxxy99 We have enough workers. What we need is to get all the millions of unemployed people off their asses and getting to work. It also doesn't help when people get fired for refusing to be vaccinated. That has to be the most idiotic move as even fully vaccinated people get Covid and can pass it on. So what is it's value? Also, the government isn't trying to put the immigrants to work. They are too busy flying or busing them to parts unknown in the dead of night and dropping them off in unsuspecting towns with no warning.

@Daniela1982 I agree with you on vaccine mandates. I think that’s overreach on the part of employers. However, I don’t think any business or labor organization would agree with you that there are enough workers. Unemployment is only 3.6%. There aren’t enough people sitting on benefits right now to offset the shortage, especially since the shortages are often regional or industry specific. We need to import more labor or we’ll stagnate our economy.
