The problem with Biden and the left, is they think securing the border and immigration laws are the same thing. They’re not! Biden could secure the border tomorrow, if he wanted. What they have always wanted was to let immigrants flood the border, then force the republicans to give them amnesty, which will ultimately give them the right to vote. If you remember, Trump was going to give five million? illegals amnesty but that wasn’t enough for the left, so it doesn’t surprise me that when they took control, they opened the borders. And they are certainly pushing opposite what many Republicans are admitting - that the bipartisan border bill is the best one to support what both sides want. Trump is contacting Republicans to get them to make the bill fail so that he can blame the failure on Biden. Trump has gotten so bad that Mitch McConnell has announced he is leaving the position at the end of this year. Even Mitch cannot stand what Trump has done to the Republican Party.

We need a bill that will address the problem of having hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens stream into the country with a price tag of a half a trillion (Trillion with a T) dollars. There was also language in it that prevented any future president to reverse it.

Yes, I knowxrmrhat is not 100% accurate. The truth is that after they get to that 5000 illegal alien limit, if you have more, they can be admitted through the ports of entry. So in reality an unlimited number of illegals can come into America. So this bill does absolutely nothing to help the problem.
