It's 50/50 as to whether Johnny will win his defamation case - they're extremely difficult to win no matter what. Amber has zero chance of winning her countersuit. But ultimately, it doesn't matter.

What matters is that Johnny's name and reputation was destroyed, along with his career, because Amber manipulated him, abused him, and lied about it all. And now, everyone knows it, and all of the people who sided with Amber by default have learned the truth, and WOW are they unhappy about it.

Johnny's career will be restored - though serious damage has already been done - and Amber's career is finished. That's the more important and meaningful result.
