I haven't kept track of the numbers but I remember how there were frequently jumps and falls simply based on what Trump said. He would say one thing on one day and the market jumped. He would change his mind the next day and the market fell. Those swings were annoying.

Trump finished 4 years with a 31% gain and that was with almost one year of economy shut down and the virus with rules not allowing people in businesses. Imagine no virus. The Dow would have gained 45% to 50% , the most since 1920's 1920's were unreal

my retire met account almost doubled in the 4 years he was in the White House and yes one of those years was the complete shutdown of the economy. It never even came close to thst in 30 years.
