What’s your take on the Jeffrey Dahmer story?

Contrary to what Jeffrey Dahmer said, I just think that no one is born evil. His mom taking 27 pills a day when she was pregnant with Jeff greatly affected it. And watching the series, I just realized what a lonely life he has lived, and with his parent’s divorce, his father’s absence because of work. He felt neglected. But the things he did was just purely evil or if there’s anything worse than evil.

Obviously the pills his mother took while she was pregnant really messed up his brain. I do feel so bad that she did that to an innocent baby. He didn't have a choice, she messed up.
And not having any father as a good roll model, he didn't know how to communicate with people. So, no friends either. Loneliness can drive a person crazy as well.
Let all that happen to any of us here, and who knows what we would have turned out to be.

I agree, I don't think people are born like that and that it was definitely triggered by childhood traumas and the way he was brought up. His Dad should've known there was an issue when he was fascinated with dissecting dead animals. He didn't have the feelings 'normal' humans do. Who tf wants to chop someones head off and keep it in the fridge because killing and throwing the body away isn't satisfying enough. He is where he should be.

Netflix has an unhealthy addiction to the guy right now. How many shows about him do they shove right now? It's obvious as to why since they already got lambasted for labeling it as LGBTQ and they're desperate to put anything under that category. They found a subject that includes that and still makes people turn their heads and ask "WTF?"

These serial killers always has it attached to their sexuality. The gay ones kill men and the straight ones always kill women. The straight ones usually look for victims that represent their own mother and if you dig deep into it they usually were severely oppressed by the mother. My take on it... I'm glad I'm not gay or a woman.

If you mean the show it was boring as hell and for some reason just changed things for the fun of it compared to the real events.

If you mean what I think of him? He's alright and yeah of course plenty disturbed but you can see a lot of it ain't because he wants to do it. You can see at times he really didn't want to actually kill them. But just that something inside him got him to do it.

Meanwhile you look at someone like John he was just a bastard doing what he did to those boys because he loved it. There is a massive difference when you see both of these stories.
Dahmer said "You should kill me for what I've done" when he got caught.
John said "Kiss my arse" when he got put to death.
You can see just a stark contrast within just that.
