He is building the wall to keep the very people he let into this country illegally. Why is he doing this now? Why not before he became president?
Even if he paid for it with his own money he would just write it off on his taxes.

I think that taxpayers should have more power when it comes to what gets funded by their money. There should be a minimum amount set for basic necessities like police, fire, ambulance, garbage, etc. but other things should be chosen by taxpayers.
