it's a difficult situation because we feel very badly about it but unless you actually get on a plane and go there to help, there's nothing we can do about it. You can send money, but most of the money you send to things like this never gets there, it ends up in the pockets of bureaucrats and administrators

when Oklahoma had that big earthquake a few years ago Carrie Underwood showed up with a suitcase full of $1 million cash and started giving it out to people. it didn't fix everything, but it helped, a lot
