Animal control is set to come get the dogs tomorrow. Obviously this ain’t a question. I’m hurting and just wanted to share my sweet cat with you guys. We had just had her a year and the one year memories are popping up, making it even worse. Her name was Maybelline and she has/had such a big piece of my heart. The second pic is of maybelline with my dog. They also loved each other very much and my heart is hurting for my dog.

That is so sad. I know what it's like to lose a loved pet. Your dog will grieve for a while, as will you. You are fortunate in that you have your dog. Spend time together, have fun together. You both will eventually get over the loss of Maybelline.
Some might say get another cat, and that might work. But it will never replace your fond memories of Maybelline.
I was curious too. I keep my cat indoors. There are times when I open my door when I get home and she runs out onto the porch. I just put her back inside immediately

Outdoor cats have very high early mortality rates from being killed by other animals, getting stuck in man made objects and starving, obtaining deadly parasites by eating wildlife, getting poisoned by eating toxic plants or drinking toxic liquids, and being hit by vehicles, among other things.

Saying "People" implies that it's a general public message intended to discourage the public from thinking the way angrycarl does about what cats need, your assumption was thinking it was only directed soecifically at you. I used your situation to highlight a more pressing problem, the prevention of further deaths of more cats, as yours had already reached the point where nothing could be done. Typing in rollercoaster and talking like an illiterate person doesn't remove the fact that you assumed I thought you were careless. There is no point to talking about whether or not you were careless, as your cat can't be saved by doing so. Whats done is done.

Cats are reckless, they drink antifreeze, eat toxic plants, get parasites by eating wildlife, get hit by cars, fight animals bigger than them and lose, kill so much small wildlife that they decimate ecosystems (highest number of prey species among all cats belongs to the domestic house cat), it is irresponsible to have an outdoor cat, both for the safety of the cat, other peoples pets, and wildlife populations.
Most large dog breeds on the other hand, actually physically require time outdoors, no domestic cat breed is big enough or not lazy enough to require that for a healthy long life, indoor cats on average live much longer than outdoor ones, most dogs though live shorter lives if only indoors, unless its a small breed.
You said this is the reason people should keep cats inside, and I told you I did, in fact, keep my cat inside. Giving us facts that may or may not be right and that no one asked for from You, insulting me, and continuing to not be able to admit you assumed shit and I made you look like an ass does not make you a scholar or smarter than anyone else.

That shit would not fly with mei had a pit bull try to snag my cat that i had for 16years and that dog did not want nothing to do with the cat in my opinion its an eye for an eye and there would be no need for animal control I would be in jail satisfied
My dog was killed by my neighbors dog a few years ago. She had went next door the their yard and got beat up. My neighbor had told me that there was a dog dead in the yard. I was sad as she was a young dog like 5 years old.
So did you miss the picture of my cat and dog right next to each other? They loved each other. They did everything together. My cat would even lick my dog like a cat would their kitten. They were best friends. If my bitch ass neighbors kept their dogs kept up and hadn’t let them get the taste of blood they wouldn’t be killing cats. Not all dogs hate cats and not all cats hate dogs
