Cheap Immigrant labor drives down wages, house prices are too expensive and the wealth is being funneled up.

In the 70s a man could make a good living from a basic factory job, own a home, own two cars, raise 2-3 children etc. Now the America, Britain, Australia aren't poorer, they are richer than they've ever been it the people that are poorer. Take liberal states and sanctuary cities where people are fleeing due to high crime rates, low wages, unemployment, high taxes, high house prices/rents and a homelessness crisis.

I know homeowners in California that had to sell their homes and move to texas because the wealthy elites moved into their area and the property taxes went up and they couldn't pay up.

Speaking for Germany there are not enough places to live and are many restrictions and regulations and a lot of paper work if you want to build a house.

So there are few appartments built and people have to fight for the left overs. There´s no government housing so you have to go to social departments or the churches. But those places are held simple and it´s not the place people want to live in.

The current government promised to build 400.000 new appartments per year but only about 100.000 of them are built per year.
