Seems a bit crass to view it as a warning when this is an unsubstantiated rumor to begin with.

Marriage and commitment has always been partway a risk. I rather doubt she desperately needs his fortune though. She has been more than successful enough to live very comfortably on her own.

Harry doesn't have that much money, not the kind of sums a gold digger like Meghan would want but what he did have was status that Meghan had hoped to cash in on and further her career.

The thing to remember is that Prince Harry is not an American Citizen so she may get half in the divorce but there might be a prenuptial agreement, the British don't have alimony payments and child support is capped so she won't be getting $50,000 per month in alimony and $50,000 per month in child support unless Harry agrees to that to buy her silence.

Meghan is a clear warning to men as to what happens when you marry a low quality trashy woman. They destroy your life. Funny thing is Harry great great grand uncle made the same mistake.
