I'm willing to bet that this was ordered by a general affiliated with one who was humiliated by the Wagner revolt a couple months ago without any direct approval or orders from Putin. Expect another high ranking officer to disappear/fall off a building in the near future. The fact they are refusing to confirm his body among those in the wreckage and deferring to the manifest makes it sound like somebody made a really big mistake, one way or another.

Prigozhin's "coup" was never at any point directed at Putin or Moscow. This was a flat out lie by the media; he was really turning against the military command staff who he (accurately) viewed as incompetent and wanted replaced, at least in part because they were withholding supplies from his troops, and dropping bombs and artillery strikes on his own positions. His entire "revolt" consisted of shooting down a helicopter that tried to intercept his column. Prigo was butt-buddies with Putin for decades, and everything he did from executing some pretty sick atrocities in Syria to exposing inept leadership in Ukraine was done for, and possibly by order of Putin himself.

Ya think? Hmmm... let's see, the top 2 guys were listed as passengers. Who knows if they were actually on the plane. Here's what I know - nobody knows anything yet. You won't even know for sure if there's an "official Russian announcement" that they were on the plane and their bodies have been identified".

Putin lies MORE than Fox News, more than Trump, if that's even possible. Who knows at this point?

He risked his life to stand up for something he believed in so he most probably went to heaven where there is no more pain or danger, because why would God put him through that, if there was no reward at the end of the tunnel?

I suspect Shoigu was behind this. Putin going through all the trouble to get wankers back in rank and file only to kill Prigo now seems a bit off.

Also Putin prefers more subtle assassination methods. Shooting down a plane in broad daylight is a bit on the nose.
