Who's the most famous person you've ever met?

I've never met a celebrity.

I have, and they were great.

I met Bob Gibson, baseball pitcher extraordinaire, when I was a kid, just after the St. Louis Cardinals won the 1967 World Series.
He went to many places around the city to do meet and greets.
He was at our local grocery store parking lot.
He signed my baseball glove.
Kids were clambering all around him.
He was formidable on the mound.
He was great to us kids on the parking lot.
I should have stopped using that baseball glove to keep it as a souvenir, but my parents didn't have money to be buying extra baseball gloves, so I used it, the signature eventually wore away and now that glove is long gone.
But I have the memory.

I met Mark Harmon. He was a really good guy. He was in town shooting a movie and I supplied some police uniforms and equipment. When the movie guy showed up to pick up the uniforms he had a leather jacket that had a tear in it and asked me if we could fix it. I told him that we had a heavy duty machine and to come back in a hour.
It was about 4:30 and the door opens and the movie guy come in with another guy who turned out to be Mark Harmon. He tried on the jacket and said he appreciated what a good job we did. He asked me what he owed me. I told him to just make a good movie.

I was immensely proud and privileged in meeting Her Late Majesty The Queen when she came and opened our brand new state of the art forensic laboratories and offices, which my then boyfriend (now husband) was a junior architect and had a very small part in the designing of the building.

We were also allowed to stand together and being introduced within our respective work disciplines, but also somewhat embarrassingly as girlfriend/boyfriend... Her Majesty couldn't have been any more sweet, lovely and nice, for whilst shaking our hands wished us both a very happy future together.

A moment in time neither of us will ever forget.

I've lost count. Umm.. Gillian Anderson I suppose was the most famous. She was funny. Mitch Pileggi was my fav. He's such a great guy all around. I've seen him on the road a few times and he's zoomed around me after reading our license plate frames (which has to do with a show he was in) he lived in my area back then. I could already tell it was him before he gunned it to het attention as he stands out in a vehicle. lol Richard Dreyfus also lived in that for some time. The drummer for the band Poison. Alice Cooper. So many more. Lots more writers and directors I followed too. Scouts for shows would be friendly also.

I have and it was mediocre, a bus stop, a former politician in my country walked past, I said hi I know you you're , and he slowed and kept walking saying "good pick up" as in "good noticing" and didn't obviously want to chat 😬😁
