In Lewiston Maine last hear there was a guy who was so crazy he already was in the funny farm for a while. Still he was released and given access to firearms. He shot up a bowling alley. Now everyone is trying to cover their own butts.

I am very aware of these things. Perhaps a bit more than you are even. There are multiple reasons why mental health care is too extremely difficult to get. It is very expensive. First of all and second of all, there are not very many of us who actually are qualified and trained to provide that care which turns out to be very complicated. It is not a matter of just giving somebody a pill.
