I do find it weird that gays and all them are supporting the very people and organizations that would prosecute them. I mean gays and the like are killed in the middle east and in the places that do somewhat tolerant them they have limited if any rights and everyone is pretty openly hostile to them and persecute them.
The middle east is basically what LGBT people claim America is like.
I think the reason that non-mainstream sexual behavior is so universally abhorred across cultures is that it isn't a cultural preference, it is a natural preference. If everyone was gay we wouldn't be here today. And nature discourages anything that infringes on reproduction and therefore survival of the species. Humans are programmed by nature, not culture, to shun that which is not consistent with survival. But as long as it is confined to a small number of individuals, it is survivable.
Also, regarding your statement about the Middle East... ironically, they not only embrace and support the religious terrorists that would be the first to murder them, but the only in the Middle East that is tolerant of their behavior is Israel, the country they are hell bent on throwing to the wolves.
Unfortunately for the "Palestinian" people of Gaza they ELECTED Hamas, an officially designated terrorist organization to run their country. They elected them by an overwhelming majority. Hamas has a WRITTEN charter to murder all Jews and eliminate them from Israel. In other words the "Palestinians" elected a terrorists organization to run their country that has a mission to commit genocide against Israeli Jews. It isn't genocide by Israel, it is genocide by the Palestinians.
When it comes to Gaza, I don't think it would matter - those guys are starved for support, so I don't think they would hang anyone supporting them. Make it Iran or Afghanistan and I suppose Your estimate might be an optimistic one.

One minor piece of important history though that is never mentioned is that many Israelis are also "Palestinians." In fact, the there were Jewish people living in the area called "Palestine" (it was never a country) for thousands of years before Islam was even a religion.
In addition, there are Muslim Palenstinian Arabs who are citizens of Israel. And about 20% of the population of Israel are Muslims. Isreal does NOT discriminate against the Muslim religion, it only discriminates against terrorists who want to murder Jews and remove them from their ancesteral homeland. No one has any better claim to the land upon which Israel stands than the Jewish people. They were there long before Islam even existed. Here's a few educational things. Very few people know these facts.
