On June 13, 2025, a fire in one of Dubai's skyscrapers, in its Marina district, shocked everyone and forced the evacuation of over 3,800 residents, with no reported injuries. It took firefighters over six hours to bring the fire under control.

Someone got carried away with the clickbait picture of Dubai on fire. The fire was limited to one building and was brought under control.

Never heard of it. The middle east section of the news is almost entirely about the war.

Least they had the sense to get people out unlike in England where they tell residents to just close their doors and sit quietly.
