@RingOfFire I'm not an American yet I can only assume for you USA folks, that even the Presidency has "limited powers" due to the "separation of powers" that usually exists in most countries. And even the King of England is only a symbolic "ruler"

Now some Arab countries do have "monarchs who reign supreme" however I guess each country varies in how much power they assign one office holder versus spread through judiciary, houses of Parliament or similar, and so forth.

Correct. In America, there are three branches of government, the Executive (of which President Trump is the head), the Legislative and the Judiciary. They each have enumerated and limited powers based on the US Constitution.

But what is going on here is an allegation by one political party (the Democrats) that President Trump is acting like a "King" with unlimited authority to do as he pleases.

That obviously is not so since I doubt any of the behavior of the Democrats pleases him, yet they are free to make fools of themselves and embarrass themselves with these anti-Trump demonstrations any time they want. No King with unlimited powers would allow that. Their heads would be removed from their torsos. So it is a laughable allegation.

He can’t possibly be a king. He supports the 2nd amendment which prevents tyranny plus he did nothing about the no kings protests
