This shopkeeper came to the rescue in a big way by disarming the gunman who was killing people in Australia. He is truly a hero.

There was a US Army Guard member that disarmed an active shooter years ago on a French train. Saved NUMEROUS lives. That incident is when authorities started recommending people take action and this man did. It's one thing to say, "take action", it's another thing to actually do it!

Yes, I remember this. He was definitely a hero. So was Daniel Penny.

I have to say No because I didn't see it, but I did hear about it.

That guy is a true hero. Where most people today would take out their phones and video the shootings, this guy took action to stop further carnage

When you fight somebody like that you do not know what you are getting into. The guy could be a special forces veteran or a martial arts expert and he will kick you ass and then shoot you. He took this guy on and then disarmed him. A real hero.

In later news stories, the shooter pulled out another gun and shot the guy and his wife, they are both dead. So sad.

I've never been a hero quite like this man is, but I know that those type of people are the one's that don't THINK about doing it, they just jump in and help. He is a true hero and a decent human being.
It's really a huge blow to humanity when someone would rather video what's going on rather than help. These are the selfish one's and Lord help them if they ever need help and someone just points their phone at them instead of reaching out for their hand.
But I believe that God sees everything! And that justice will come in the end one day.

I find it very uplifting and hopeful that someone will selflessly act to help other people.

What I would have found the "most badass" would be if the shooter had found enough peace or love in their heart to not want to shoot anyone in the first place.

Absolutely. Also i remember the the woman and the man who confronted to Southport attacker saving children.

The unarmed woman who confronted Lee rigby's killers.
