In Minneapolis there was a demonstration on a Wednesday afternoon of working age people. How do these people get the afternoon off from their jobs? Do they even have jobs? Are they all on welfare? Who would hire these losers?

Half the time they dont know what they are protestsing, seen placards recently of people protesting to get evil Venezuelan dictator back in power. A year around festival of disrupting the lives of those that pay the taxes and keep soceity running.

Did you ask why all the MAGA insurrectionists were off work on January 6th? If a Dem were President, you'd be pointing out all these people must be jobless due to high unemployment as a result of the President's actions. YES, a million Americans went to DC on their own dime to protest a stolen election. You are right about that. I do know one person who was here and he owns his own small business. He closed for a few days because he felt it was important to defend our free election system. He says that he feels lucky that he was not arrested along with everyone else.

I call it the Cafe Law. By myself I might think of two cafes to go and eat at. Would I like italian or Asian tonight? It is not much more work with two or even three people.

When you have four people it starts becoming a negotiation and every cafe suggested has to be seriously assessed by all. At 5 or 6 people it's a slow process. Above that people drop out because they just want a dinner - any bloody dinner will do.

I'm on the board of management of my apartment building. There can be 12 owners but only 3 tops will will do any work ever. The other 9 just slow everything down by coming up with new adhoc thoughts at resolution votes.

As gov't is so big it is surprising they ever get anything done. More public servants on the street instead of at desks is bound to speed things up.

The people who showed upon Jan6th had jobs, ran small businesses and mortgages and families to support. They did this on their own dime. I do know somebody who was there and he runs a small business and had to close the business for a couple of days.
The protester that was shot had no job that I could determine and also had a kid. How does she pay the bills? Inquiring minds want to know.

Probably because they thought that the cause they are demonstrating for or against is more important than spending a couple of hours of work. I realize that you don't want them to be able to demonstrate or to do anything that might oppose Trump or his minions, but quite frankly, the reason that they are there and their work status is none of your fucking business.

it is just curious that so many people are aboe to show up on a weekday afternoon to protest some democrat cause. They show up sometimes with printed T shirs and sometimes professionally printed signs. The same people show up at different protests. I just have ot wonder if they are funded bu the DNC or Soros or some democrat organization that is funded by the government.

okay, if thats your story stick to it. However I just wonder how a 37 year old woman who is a "poet" and only 4 months ago moved back to the US from Canada. She left the country when Trump was elected and I guess things did not work out in Canada so she came back to America.
She has a 6 year old kid. Ask yourself. How does she pay her bills?

When they have a pro Trump rally it is always on the weekend. People who support the president all have mortgages to pay, businesses to run and families to support. In short they have real lives.

@goaded President Trump campaigned every day for the month leading up to the election. Yes people did take the day off work and yes Jan 6th was not on a Sunday but these are pretty special rallies. you never see these pop up demonstrations during the week being held for conservative causes. They are always democrats. When the is a conservative rally 99% of them are held on the weekend.
