Iran was attacked. They have the right to self defence. Israel and the USA attack oil fields in Iran, it will attack oilfields both of them rely on in retaliation.

Iran is shia muslim, they oppose the other kinds of muslim so try to hurt Saudi too. Iran wanted to remind everyone to stop blaming war on Israel. Even if Israel were destroyed, as some hope, still no peace.
