What was he wrong about? Iran violated international law repeatedly. Trump made demands and said if Iran doesn't cooperate America would bring the PAIN. He seems to be right on the money with the things he said. It's hunting season. IRGC are getting bodied.

Iran didn't do that, Europeans did. The City of London (Lloyd's) refused to sell shipping insurance to tankers entering the Persian Gulf creating an artificial supply shock. As a result Europeans and Asians that purchase that oil started sailing to the USA to purchase our crude oil, refined fuels, and chemical products which created more demand for American petroleum products. This boosts GPD in the oil and gas sector which roughly accounts for 6-8% of US GDP, but obviously strains the rest of the American economy. None the less it promotes new oil and gas well development and new jobs in that industry. It also makes many nations more dependent on the United States of America which gives us leverage in other international negotiations. Is it great for the average American consumer for day to day expenses? Not immediately. Are they unheard of prices? Nope. Prices were higher under Obama/Biden for a much long period of time. Will prices fall? Yep obviously. Iran isn't doing shit but getting beat down. Being that they are a proxy of the City of London, Europe is engaging in economic warfare with the USA, but as you see they are the ultimate losers. They face harsh tariffs. They are losing military security. They are being forced to buy American oil and gas products. While Europe is causing a minor inconvenience for the USA, Europe is losing hand over fist.
