There is a big heat wave going across the country. In the northeast it is expected to break 100 degrees on Thursday and Friday. I am really loving the central air conditioning I had installed a couple of years ago.

That's normal summer weather where I live. The days are between high 80s and high 90s all summer, with occasional spikes as high as 108.
Thank goodness it's not humid. We use a swamp cooler (evaporative cooler) to cool the main part of the house and it works very well.
In our bedroom, we keep a large fan in an open window along with another large fan by the bedroom door, as well as a ceiling fan. We have an AC unit in another bedroom window for nights that are really warm.
There is another window AC unit in our guest bedroom for when we have visitors.

Probably not, but in the month of June, we had 20 days with a high temp of 90F or higher. July and August will probably be a bit more consistently 90F+.

We shall see! It’s supposed to be hot and then hotter with a heat index of 110. 🔥. It was a tough winter, so I welcome the change during July and August.

probable that nyc will got hotter than 100! in the powerful sun like france. but also will cool in evening as usual.

We got to 99.6 in the UK last week... July record is over that with another hot spell on the way so it's possible maybe

I recorded 105F (40.5C) in our carport this afternoon. Southeast US is in the middle of a heat wave.
