TRAVELING NORTH? Brian Laundrie ‘sighting’ reported by flight attendant who is convinced she spotted Gabby Petito’s fiancé in Canada

In a video posted to TikTok on Wednesday, user @cwlynn said she was staying overnight at a hotel in Toronto on September 20 when she went downstairs to pick up a food delivery.

As she stepped outside to meet her courier, she says she spotted a man who closely resembled Brian Laundrie, who has not been seen since leaving his home in Florida on September 14.

The flight attendant described the man as appearing "flustered" as he walked out of the hotel.

He then allegedly got back into his car and drove away with another man.

She didn't confront the man but she did snap a picture of him from a distance.

The image shows a balding while male with prominent facial hair and a facemask strapped around his chin. The individual picture also appears to be similar in build to Laundrie.

The woman said she also informed the hotel about the man's suspicious activity and likeness to Laundrie.

Staff reportedly told her: "He didn't know where he was going and he had the wrong hotel."

A married Alabama couple known for their reselling videos on YouTube under the name “Alabama Pickers” have both died of COVID.

Dusty and Tristan Graham lived in Huntsville, where they would often post videos about various tips and tricks to reselling vintage items like clothes and home décor. They sold on eBay under the username, bama4348.

They chose not to get vaccinated because, as they explained it, they already had a passport to travel called the "Bill of Rights."

Dusty died Thursday, almost three weeks after his wife did, according to the GoFundMe page set up by one of their children.

(CNN) A United States military investigation into a deadly Kabul drone strike on a vehicle in August has found it killed 10 civilians and the driver and that the vehicle targeted was likely not a threat associated with ISIS-K, announced Gen. Frank McKenzie, the top general of US Central Command, at the Pentagon on Friday.

McKenzie told reporters that the strike was a "mistake" and offered an apology.

"This strike was taken in the earnest belief that it would prevent an imminent threat to our forces and the evacuees at the airport, but it was a mistake and I offer my sincere apology," he said.

McKenzie added that he is "fully responsible for this strike and this tragic outcome."

The Pentagon had maintained that at least one ISIS-K facilitator and three civilians were killed in what Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley had previously called a "righteous strike" on the compound on August 29. The investigation released Friday found that all of those killed in the residential compound were civilians.

In the lead up to the strike, drone operators surveilled the courtyard for up to 4 to 5 minutes. In that time, a male driver left the vehicle. One child was parking the vehicle and other children were present in the car and the courtyard -- as CNN had been told by the Ahmadi family.

The military based the strike on a reasonable certainty standard to launch the strike on the vehicle. Tragically, it was the wrong vehicle, a US military official familiar with the investigation told CNN earlier Friday, adding that reasonable certainty is not 100% certainty.

"We didn't take the strike because we thought we were wrong -- we took the strike because we thought we had a good target," McKenzie said.

On Friday, General Milley released a statement on the strike calling it "a horrible tragedy."

"This is a horrible tragedy of war and it's heart wrenching and we are committed to being fully transparent about this incident," he added.

A prominent fashion designer behind a $1,190 pair of sweatpants has been lambasted by some fashion and Black history experts for what they say is cultural appropriation.

The gray Balenciaga sweatpants, which feature what looks like the top of a pair of boxers peeking out from the waistband, sparked controversy after a TikTok user posted a brief video on September 2 of the pants at what appeared to be a store.

"This feels racist," one individual said on the video posted by Tiktok user @mr200m__ as they grabbed the Trompe-L'Oeil pants. "They've woven the boxers inside the trouser."

Marquita Gammage, an associate professor of Africana Studies at California State University, Northridge, was also disturbed by the Balenciaga item and what she sees as its exploitation of "Black culture with the hopes of securing major profits."

Biden announces new vaccine mandates that could cover 100 million Americans

President Joe Biden on Thursday imposed stringent new vaccine rules on federal workers, large employers and health care staff in a sweeping attempt to contain the latest surge of Covid-19.

The new requirements could apply to as many as 100 million Americans, according to the White House, and amount to Biden's strongest push yet to require vaccines for much of the country.

"We've been patient, but our patience is wearing thin," Biden said of Americans who still refuse vaccinations, casting his new measures as necessary to push the minority of the nation that still hasn't been inoculated into getting shots.

He said Americans who have received vaccinations were growing "frustrated" with the 80 million people who have not. And he acknowledged the new steps would not provide a quick fix.

"While America is in much better shape than it was seven months ago when I took office, I need to tell you a second fact: We're in a tough stretch and it could last for awhile," Biden said in his speech.

In his speech, the President directed the Labor Department to require all businesses with 100 or more employees ensure their workers are either vaccinated or tested once a week. Companies could face thousands of dollars in fines per employee if they don't comply.

Wide swaths of the American workforce could be impacted by the new rules, which would take effect over the coming weeks. The new "emergency temporary standard" from the Labor Department will require large employers to give their workers paid time off to get vaccinated.

If businesses don't comply, the government will "take enforcement actions," which could include "substantial fines up to nearly $14,000 per violation, according to officials.

Officials said the standard was a "minimum," and some companies may choose to go further, including by mandating the vaccine instead of offering a test-out alternative.

Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz cannot be called an 'animal' or any other derogatory names during trial, judge rules

Prosecutors and witnesses in the future trial of Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz will not be allowed to use derogatory words to refer to the defendant, according to a ruling by a Florida judge.

It would not be feasible, Broward County Circuit Judge Elizabeth Scherer said, to create "an exhaustive list of words," that should not be used to describe Cruz, who faces 34 counts of premeditated and attempted murder for the February 2018 shooting at a South Florida high school that left 17 people dead. But the use of terms like "animal" or "that thing" would not be permitted during the trial, Scherer said.

However, Scherer's ruling, issued Friday, said the defense had also asked some words not be used -- like "school shooter," "murderer" or "killer" -- were not derogatory, but "normal words or terms that may be used to describe particular facts."

That thinking also applies to words that reference the shooting itself, Scherer said, like "massacre," which describes a "particular circumstance" and is not, "in and of itself," a derogatory word.

Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for Cruz, who previously confessed to the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that spawned a massive national protest movement against gun violence in American schools. He has pleaded not guilty, but his attorneys previously said he would plead guilty in exchange for a life sentence without the possibility of parole. A date for the trial has not been set.

The ruling comes after attorneys for Cruz on Wednesday argued in support of two motions to keep state prosecutors and witnesses from referring to Cruz or the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in an "inflammatory manner."

Nationals VP Bob Boone Resigns Over Team's COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate

Bob Boone, the Washington Nationals' longtime vice president and senior adviser to general manager Mike Rizzo, will leave the organization following his refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccine.

The Nationals mandated vaccines for all non-playing employees Aug. 14 and gave them until Sept. 15 to comply. Boone, 73, is one of an undisclosed number of employees to part ways with the team as a result.

Two scouts have also been told their contracts will not be renewed because of their vaccination status. More staff changes are expected, according to Jesse Dougherty of the Washington Post.

The singer Pink accused a 14-year-old YouTuber's parents of having "exploited" their daughter by allowing her to be photographed in a bikini.

Piper Rockelle, who has over 8 million subscribers on YouTube, where she's known for participating in pranks and challenges, disputed the claim in a statement to Insider.

"My mom doesn't make me do anything," Piper told Insider in an emailed statement provided by a representative. "In terms of me in swimsuits, it's summer! My friends and I live in the water."

Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, asked her 31 million Twitter followers in a Sunday tweet: "How many kids like Piper Rockelle are being exploited by their parents?"

"And at what point do the rest of us say … 'this isn't okay for a 13 yr old to be posing in a bikini whilst her MOTHER takes the photo?'" she added, citing an incorrect age for Piper.

The singer appeared to be referring to a series of bikini photos Piper shared on Instagram, where she has 4.8 million followers, on August 14. The account's bio says the page is "managed by Family."

Piper's YouTube content includes videos like letting Instagram followers control what she does for 24 hours. The Los Angeles social-media star also makes pop music and has more than 220,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Piper told Today Parents that she didn't think Pink had "ever seen one" of her videos. "Pictures of teenagers in bikinis having fun are not sexual," she said. "They're only sexual if you view us that way."
