its on Friday this year and Friday night is typically a busy night downtown in the bar/nightclub areas. so does seem like its possible people come out this year
but not really sure as obviously a lot of people are going to have other plans like dates and sex. so not really sure how many singles would actually come out and feel like it might more be men as women stay home and eat ice cream feeling sorry for there love life or lack of it

Depends what bar and if there's something going on there. For example, a lot of bars here are hosting "lock and key" events that are designed to help singles meet someone. (You can look it up on Eventbrite for your area.)
i haven't heard of anything like that here , some bars are advertising cupid themed bar nights but somehow not really sure that would be a hit.
a lot of restaurants here be very busy for dinner as its Friday plus v day , so people will either be eating out or working that night
a post v day bar crowd seems really unlikely here
I’m sure IRS all easy enough to look up on Yelp or eventbrite….
i'm not really aware of any local events , its winter here and not really a lot goes on here during the winter months.
i could see the downtown being really quiet tomorrow night after the dinner rush is over
It is not a good idea.
thats how i felt about it too , i've been in our pub downtown on a v day Friday before must of been 5 or so years ago and it wasn't even busy that night , was for dinner but no one really came out after
