As a man I don't believe I get to have an opinion on it but as long as it's nothing something like "men and females" or "men and girls" then I would guess it's not offensive. Say males and females or guys and girls or boys and girls. But not men and females or girls.

looking back on our relationship, I thought the connection we had was special and unique! The memories we made have stayed with me, I thought what we shared was genuinely meaningful. My ex broke up with me. She is unbelievably stunning and from my culture. It’s been 2 months and honestly I’ve never seen a girl of my culture that rare and beautiful. It’s just like 1 in a million.
