We travel in our vehicles for work. The other day I got in a medium dangerous car accident and my vehicle became inoperable. I sent a picture of my vehicle to my boss and said that I won't be able to work today.

He showed concern and then immediately asked if I could work the weekend, at all. I didn't take it any type of way and said that I doubt I would be able to work the weekend. I probably won't have my vehicle for Saturday, and I needed Sunday off anyway. He doesn't respond to my text message.

45 minutes later he sends a long email to the entire team about how we signed up to work weekends and we all need to suck it up and work weekends because it's not really doable to expect both days off.

Naturally, I got a bit defensive and I told him I'm not trying to have the weekend off, I'm literally sitting in the mechanics right now trying to get my vehicle back. I don't appreciate the email about not wanting to work.

He acted a bit confused and then told me that the email wasn't about me and was about my other teammates. I find it hard to believe that I'm not lumped in there or that my situation didn't trigger this email, but I actually do believe him after he explains it to me.

Here's the thing though. He acted like I was crazy for thinking that at all and was gaslighting me that it's ridiculous I thought it was about me. He basically dismissed me and my response and told me I need to chill out and acted like I was creating something out of nowhere. Like he essentially said "You're being a little B.. t. ch and creating drama out of nowhere so F how you feel because you took it the wrong way" w/out fully saying that.

I felt myself get hot because I could feel the passive aggression and him twisting the conversation so that it seemed like I was crazy. We got into it back and forth for a bit and then I said I'm not carrying this on further.

Who is in the wrong? Can you not see my point of view that I would think that? Did my boss gaslight me or is this all on me?

One is when I was little, I played Halo 3 split screen with family friends. One was Ethan, he'd always destroy me in everything with understanding the maps and getting to the heavy stuff before I did. So he had a rocket launcher and I had an SMG which was basically useless.

He chased me, I placed a mine which as you can see, hilariously conspicuous, it beeps loudly, and only goes off when they step on it. Or punch it with a rocket launcher as he did as he smugly said "oh, what's this"? The mine doesn't kill the player, either, it just breaks their shields.

No shields= no protection, so I emerged and finished him off with the SMG and took his rocket launcher, I was laughing hysterically at him. He knew the map, but I knew him, he'd just have to show me who's boss and that I was a noob, and he wouldn't recognize his vulnerability until after I've already exploited it.

So he essentially shut off his own shields so he would only survive a few shots. It makes me laugh even harder, how mortified he must've felt for smacking an exploding bomb and then losing his rocket launcher to me.

He rage quit, as one does when the hierarchy flips so instantly in such a ridiculous and avoidable manner. I'd have said "thanks for the rocket launcher" if i wasn't laughing too hard to speak as he stomped off. What's a funny instant karma story you have? And did you enjoy my story?

Initially I ticked all her boxes that she was looking for in a guy. She recognised I’m a nice guy, kind, sensitive and gentle. We had a good connection. I was consistent and attentive towards her, emotionally available. Made tule to see her a couple times a week.

Reasons she left:

She thought I was a player and cagey with my phone and untrustworthy. I was cagey as it is personal, but always reassured her and I think I showed her my phone/messages like 3 times.

I didn’t make her feel special - because I did 50/50 when I earn more than her and come from money. I have only been working for a year. I didn’t buy her flowers, I did for Valentine’s Day and bought her a plant in the early stages.

Didn’t like how I was consulting family members at the end about the relationship

I didn’t lead sometimes and did make her switch her brain off. She has a point when we went on a weekend she planned it. But she also tells me she’s not a passive person as she’s a professional.

I feel hurt. It was my first relationship. If I could go back there’s not a lot I would change just cherish her more? I didn’t make any fundamental errors, obviously times where I could’ve been nicer. There was on time I shut her down a bit because she didn’t want to move in with my family.

It's looking like women are quite proud of them and would love to show them off if they were only allowed to.
