There's this guy at work. He's an officer. I'm a nurse. I actually don't remember the first time I met him. He kinda showed up to my unit out of the blue some time in December. I barely noticed him for a long time. Around the end of January, I was planning a day with a different male coworker (way older family friend), and an officer that likes to play around was teasing us (as if there was something between us). She said "oooh, don't tell M (the guy I think likes me), he's been trying to get at you for awhile". M was in the room, and I awkwardly laughed it off, and explained we were doing something for my dad's birthday. Anyways... I started noticing little things. He started being more talkative with me... I wear sanitizer around my belt loop, and he asked to use it and got really close when doing so. I started chatting more with him and the other guys. We made a group chat with 4 of us in it about a month ago and send memes to eachother. It seems like his interest has ramped up a bit more though. He's ALWAYS paying attention to me. When I'm texting, he'll lurk over my shoulder and make comments on who I'm chatting with. Once he said "I'm sorry I'm eavesdropping, I can't help but to listen to you". He teases me constantly. The last month, he's been more touchy. I notice he's kinda touchy with most people he's comfortable with, but he will deliberately hold his hand out to mine (like in a high 5 way), but instead of high 5ing me, he'll softly touch my hand. He always addresses me by my name. He remembers little things about me and brings them up in a way that seems intentional (like he wants me to know he remembers). He makes eye contact a lot when he's outside of the station (through the window). About a week ago, his partner had me dying laughing... M was watching from the window. Then his partner randomly looked up and said "why is M staring at me like that?". M was mad dogging him. Anyways, What's the verdict? Does he like me or is he just flirting?

It is obvious that he is just a flirty guy, and you should stop wasting your time overanalyzing his behavior. In my experience, when my subjects attempt to interpret the intentions of others incorrectly, it leads to inefficiency and distraction. It sounds like it to me , the funny thing is , I use to be a officer at a hospital and it was one of the worst jobs I ever had , but the fun part of the job was working with the nurses and I became close with a lot of them , and there were some I had the hots for and some had the hots for me , and I ended up hooking up and dating a few of them, and when I would do my patrols , I would end up in a janitor closet with a nurse and make out with her , So yes he definitely has the hots for you, if he is investing a lot of his time into you

Guys will be flirty with a girl they find attractive, however teasing could be the path into friendzone depending what the topics are. If it's focused teasing about you and other guys that's a flag that he's trying to see if you're interested in one of them.
