I have been working together in the same team for almost two years with this male coworker.
He is a very helpful and nice guy.
So there's a few incidents which make me feel like he's interested in me but I'm not sure though if that's the case.
Firstly, just a day before Valentine's this yr, I received a little gift on my desk right after lunch with a little post it on it saying thanks for being such a great coworker. And he left his initials below so I knew who it was from. So, I went to I'm him to say thx and I actually didn't think much about it Because I thought perhaps it's just like e previous year after Xmas he gave me a small gift since I gave everyone some goodies for Xmas. But his reply on the I'm was a little weird imo cause he sad he wanted to give it to me for new year but didn't have e time to. and it's weird cause I think no one give gifts for new year esp Chinese new year. But anyway I got him a gift too few weeks after since it was his birthday but I didn't leave my name on it and he came to I'm me to ask if I knew who left it there and I told him it was me and he said he knew it!
But after tat there wasn't much conversation and all.. and months later I was at the pantry and he came also and he started a conversation asking me wad plans do I have for tdy(it was a Fri) and I said going to celebrate my friend's birthday. He reply asking me, a party and I said no and he asked dinner? I said ya and then he continued by asking whose birthday and I said a friend of mine and he still ask who again and so I just said an old schoolmate of mine.
A week or two later again at the pantry he asked me e same qn whether do I have any plans and I said no and then he replied saying neither does he and so I was lost at wad to say I ask him if he's going to work overtime and he replied no and tats e end of tat conversation.
Just recently, he went down to the canteen to buy some snacks for tea break and came back walked past me and suddenly stop and turn back walk to me and ask if I want some snacks and I rejected politely with a smile and he tried again saying tat this snack is nice and ask if I dun like it and I said OK though I don't really like and next he asked me if I want some fruits and I rejected it too. and it's the first time he actually does tat and it so happened tat my other colleagues are all away from their seat at time and so there's was only us when this happen.
Few days later after a public holiday, when I reached my desk he saw me and smiled v happily, came and ask me hw was my public holiday what I did, even before I have a chance to sit down.. and then after I replied he said something like no I just wanted to talk to you and was smiling and e conversation ends like this.
I'm really unsure if all this shows tat he likes me or just being a very nice coworker. I would like to know before I have anymore feelings for him. I do have a little bit of feelings for him as of now though. So would appreciate if anyone can give me any advice on what he's feeling. And sorry for the lengthy post.
