You must have wanted to be with her all along right?
Is being drunk and excuse to cheat?
You must have wanted to be with her all along right?
Hmmm. well I agree with the first part, when you're drunk it definitely nixes the inhibitions and you act upon what you feel. But the last part of "you must have wanted her all along" could be wrong. bottom line, if sex is offered by a girl, unless she's absolutely unbearable, it's hard for most guys to resist it. the girl he was out with, doesn't necessarily mean he's interested in her on a relationship basis, she was just there, and he was horny, and drunk, which means no inhibitions, which means the thought of his girlfriend, failed to come up in his mind and stop him.
Regardless of WHY he had sexy-time with this girl, he had a girlfriend. and he cheated on her. Whether you're the girlfriend, or the girl he had sex with, this guy doesn't really care for boundaries. and if he cheats FOR you, he'll more than likely cheat ON you. how drunk was he by the way? Because there's a fine line of tipsy and horny, and straight up just sloppy ass drunk looking for a warm body
I agree with this. The second part is exactly what I was thinking but was too tired to think of how I wanted to phrase it, lol.
I'm not a guy but I tend to agree with you. Drinking lowers our inhibitions and makes us do things we wouldn't do ordinarily. We all pretty much know that. But it doesn't make us a different person and it doesn't change our minds about things. I don't believe that it is ever going to make you do something that you don't want to do on some level when sober but are just too afraid to do (or have something else holding you back).
I wouldn't buy this excuse.
no it ain't no excuse and that happened to me and my bestfriend we apparnetly slept together when we were both drunk and I feel really bad about it and I even told my boyfriend that I was so sorry for it and that I don't use the alcohol as an excuse it should not of happened if it did anyways.
no its not. plain and simple. drinking doesn't make you suddenly forget your gf, and yes you still know right and wrong, and you still can make decisions.
Drinking isn't an excuse. If it were then DUI wouldn't exist.
As for curtailing inhibitions, there may be some truth to that. For example, some people are very self-conscious about dancing, but get a few drinks in them and they'll cut loose and have fun with it. Some women are very similar when it comes to sex. They want it, but due to social pressures they restrict themselves. Booze comes along and suddenly they don't care what the world thinks and have fun according to their own whims.
It is no excuse because what people say is that they weren't thinking, and that they don't remember and they can't be held responsible for something like that. Well the truth is they are responsible for the decision to drink without control and that's were they are guilty.

Hey there. I feel it is now excuse at all. If you know you can't control yourself if you drink, DON'T DRINK! He was wrong in every way possible. He had sex with another lady and nothing is good enough excuse to explain your way out of it. That's how I feel.
Good luck on you decision.
Ciao Ciao
I would like to think so but the other person usually doesnt. When your drunk your still able to function so you can still choose right from wrong, but being drunk makes you horny and it makes women horny and a lot of times you say to your self well sleeping with that girl seemed like a good idea at the time. But it is at an excuse no its not unless the person slipped you a roofie and then raped while you passed out, that I could see as a good excuse, but other than that nope not an excuse.
Being dunk is NOT an excuse. I wouldn't do something like that like drink heavily then cheat
If he was single, that would be one thing, but if he already has a girlfriend, that's unacceptable!
NO. Simple as that.
