Getting pregnant while you are NOT ovulating is literally physically impossible.
The real problem is, telling WHEN you are ovulating.
An app just guesstimates the time when you ovulate based on the length of your cycles.
But since you are only 16 your cycle could become irregular as a result of not yet matured hormonal balances. (or any hormonal condition you haven't been diagnosed with as of yet such as PCOS)
So I wouldn't risk it.1

It's not impossible to get pregnant at anytime during your cycle. It's just more likely the few days before and while you're ovulating.
Unless, you are so regular you can set a watch to your cycle those calendars aren't always right, even, so don't rely on that.
Not to pull the Im older and wiser card on you because I don't believe I know it all I just have more experience than you. But obviously if you don't want to use condoms then you need to find another form of birth control. The pull out and pray method isn't going to get you anywhere but knocked up. Also, trust me, I am not judging you or trying to talk down to you but if I were you, sex without condoms wouldn't even be a concern for me. It's just smart. Things happen and I wouldn't want to catch anything. Im 30 years old and have only had sex with two guys without condoms. It's safer and smarter.
As for feeling bad for your boyfriend, don't. He's getting sex. Yes, using condoms can suck but not getting laid sucks more.
Sorry. I'll hop off my soap box now.
In the end, though, you can only decide what it right for you.0
