When I was breaking up with him I told him to go die.. Is this why he won’t talk to me again. I really miss him but oh well. People make mistakes but I don't know I think there’s something wrong with me. I don’t feel like myself anymore and it just hurts because I know If he said that to me I’d be so hurt to the point I wouldn’t talk to him again. But oh well

Did you mean what you said, when you told him to die? If not, it’s best to apologize and put this behind you because you seem to regret saying for him to die. You regret it because you feel what you said was bad and out of line, so the best thing for you to do now is at least apologize. Start there.

I do regret it but I don’t want to message him.. I think that’s low. It’s better if I talked to him in person but I don’t know how I would even see him.

Just call him or text him and tell him you want to talk in person, simple. You don’t have to do anything more than be genuine and honest with your apology. If you don’t want to see him anymore, that’s fine, but this apology is the right thing to do and I’m sure you think so as well. Tell him you were angry and anger makes people say things and do things they wouldn’t otherwise do when they’re sober or calm. It’s normal to say things like this when angry, but by you not apologizing, you’re making every second you don’t worse. Apologize as soon as you can, today if you can.

Oh well? Here is a novel idea, don't be a shitty person. You told him to go die, yeah, that's almost certainly part of the reason why he doesn't want to talk to you anymore, pretty obvious. Its sad that your only lesson you learned in this was "oh well" instead of "hey I screwed up, I shouldn't have done that and I want to make it up to him and make sure I don't hurt some one else like this again".

No, I was suggesting apologizing as for telling him to go die, again, sure maybe their was a reason, maybe he was an asshole or maybe your just a bitch (not an insult just saying I've known plenty of women who where terrible people, just because you insulted him doesn't inherently mean he deserved it), point is what you did was wrong, you know it was wrong because your on this site complaining about it, so the most logical conclusion is apologize (even if you don't like him (though honestly, your the one who dated him so clearly if he is bad enough to deserve to be told to go die, then what the hell does that say about you?)), and then try to avoid such outbursts in the future.
