What does it mean when your ex starts being touchy feely with you?

my ex and I have always remained friends since we broke up in 2003. And anytime we've seen each other we talk for a long time have always kept a respectable distance between us when we do talk and when we hug good bye its always been just real quick and like as minimum touching as possible. I've been really busy so I haven't seen him in about 6 months. Me and a few friends got together and he was there. We all talked all night and throughout the entire conversation he would find excuses to touch me whether it was patting my arm or my hand or leg. He kept going back to the past and how I'm the only girl he had dated that he's kept in contact with and whatnot. When we all got ready to depart from our get together he gave every1 hugs all were that one arm over the shoulder pat you on the back real quick then move on kind of hug. Then he gave me a hug and it was both arms around me squeezed firmly lasted longer than the other hugs kind of hug. He left and bout 10 min after he left he called me to tell me the clouds outside look kind of like heavens peeking through and its really beautiful when you get outside look at it. Totally out of character for him. And then proceeded to keep me on the phone for another 15 min then the conversation was ended with I really hope to see you again soon. I'm really confused because even when we were dating he was never that touchy feely and never gave hugs like that to anyone. That was just the way he was and seeing him interact with every1 else it was that way. I'm just really confused.

He is just showing you attention in hopes maybe something physical will happen. He probably still cares about you and wants to see if a relationship is possible.

Me and him dated for 6 months *we had been friends for bout 2 years b4 that*. He was my 1st boyfriend and we never had sex. We broke up because since I wasn't putting out he went somewhere else. He knows its not easy to get into my pants. But you're probably right anyways, he's probably thinking since I'm older I've changed. :-) thanks!

After it happened we didn't speak to each other for a good 10 months. We worked together and after. And being hostile towards each other made it a living hell. I got stood up by my friends on my birthday and he came and talked to me and made me a pizza that said happy birthday in sausage. So we made a truce and became friends again. He knows I think he's a dog and which is why I'm so confused about why all of a sudden he's acting like that towards me.

Are you still a virgin? Cause that might be a big reason why. He is likely still a dog trying to hump you if you're a virgin and the whole "I deflowered her!" conquest bs some man-child or boys have in their mind. If he acts nice, maybe he thinks it'll lead to more.

And, on the rare chance he did actually realize he was stupid and really wants to be with you and wouldn't push you, well, still don't go for it. He f***ed up, big time, how can you trust him not to push for more or break up again?

No when me and him were together I was. But now I've got 2 kids. And he's known me this entire time and knows I'm no easy challenge. And I've made it clear our entire friendship I don't giive second chances. That's why I'm scratching my head over this. If he wanted to get laid he's already got a door open with a friend of ours. I just hate games and don't want to ruin our friendship. And at the saame time I don't want to act awkward around him if he's not keeping his feelings in check. :-/

Lol sorry. No when me and him dated back in 2003 I was. My kids are from a later relationship that was serious. 1st kid was result of broken condom and 2nd kid was planned. Grew up with their dad. Lol
